Mounds View City Council June 11, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer introduced Aaron Nielson who presented the Annual Financial Report and 1 <br />Management Report to Council. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Council Member Flaherty indicated he spoke with the Finance Director today to clarify market 4 <br />value homestead credit and the City will get a larger credit this year and that will allow the Citify 5 <br />to reduce the levy. 6 <br /> 7 <br /> B. Northwest Youth and Family Services Presentation (Kaye Andrews) 8 <br /> 9 <br />Kay Andrews and Jerry Hromatka appeared before Council and provided information on 10 <br />Northwest Youth and Family Services. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Council member Mueller asked Jerry Hromatka where the Oak Grove Middle School is located. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mr. Hromatka indicated that it is off of Lexington and serves part of the Mounds View School 15 <br />District. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Mayor Marty said that he served as a representative to Mounds View on this board and this is an 18 <br />outstanding organization for the City. He then pointed out that the total cost of services received 19 <br />by Mounds View residents was $305,885 and the City contribution is $17,405. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Mayor Marty thanked the representatives for the good work they are doing for the community. 22 <br /> 23 <br /> C. Letter from Mounds View Citizen of the Year 24 <br /> 25 <br />Mayor Marty read the letter received from Ed Lanz, the Citizen of the Year. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Mayor Marty thanked all the Scout Leaders in the community that volunteer and give back along 28 <br />with all the coaches for all the park and recreation teams. 29 <br /> 30 <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS 31 <br /> 32 <br /> A. Public Hearing, Resolution 7091, a Resolution to Consider an Off Sale 33 <br /> Intoxicating Liquor License Renewal for ABC Liquor Located at 2840 34 <br /> County Highway 10 35 <br /> 36 <br />Assistant to the Administrator Crane asked for Council consideration of renewal of the liquor 37 <br />license for ABC Liquor. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Mayor Marty opened the public hearing. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Hearing no public comments, Mayor Marty closed the public hearing at 7:50 p.m. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Council Member Mueller asked when the compliance check was done. 44 <br /> 45
