Mounds View City Council June 11, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 14 <br /> <br />Council Member Flaherty apologized, indicating he had meant to pull item 8F, not 8A. he had a 1 <br />question about the toboacco license renewal for ABC Liquor. 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council struck that license renewal from the list. 5 <br /> 6 <br /> G. Resolution 7090 Approving a Service Contract for the City Hall 7 <br /> Elevator 8 <br /> 9 <br />Council Member Stigney said that he had questions on the costs and that they were seemingly 10 <br />renegotiated to become low bidder. He then said that the City has a bi-monthly contract now and 11 <br />this is a monthly contract and he is surprised with that since the elevator is used so infrequently. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that people within the industry are stating that there are no 14 <br />annual requirements for testing other than the no load test and he would like to look into this 15 <br />further to see if Staff can be assigned the monthly telephone check before entering into a 16 <br />contract. 17 <br /> 18 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Move this to the June 25, 2007 Meeting to Determine 19 <br />whether the Fire Marshall or Other Staff Could Conduct this Test. 20 <br /> 21 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 22 <br /> 23 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council Member Mueller, Page 13, $19,191.30 for the Spaulding Patcher, she would like to 26 <br />know what this is for. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Director Lee indicated that it is the hot patch mixer and it is being used. 29 <br /> 30 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty.
