Resolution 7107, Abatement of a Nuisance Code Violation at 7626 Woodlawn 1 <br />Drive 2 <br /> 3 <br />This item was removed from the Agenda as the violation had been eliminated. 4 <br /> 5 <br /> L. Resolution 7108, Adopting the Global Release and Settlement Agreement, 6 <br />Including Approval of Various Leases 7 <br /> 8 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Staff is asking for an extension to the July 9, 2007 9 <br />meeting to allow Staff time to negotiate a final agreement. 10 <br /> 11 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7109, 12 <br />Extending the Original 90 Day Deadline An Additional 10 Days to July 9, 2007. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Council Member Mueller said that she hates extending deadlines both personally and 15 <br />professionally but, in this case, she feels that an extension is necessary. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> M. Resolution 7033, a Resolution Adopting the Vision & Mission Statement, 20 <br /> Goals Program and Values Statement, and Rules of Conduct 21 <br /> 22 <br />Mayor Marty pointed out that these were discussed at the City’s Town Hall Meeting. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would like to consider each of the items separately. 25 <br /> 26 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Adopt the City’s Vision & Mission Statement. 27 <br /> 28 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 29 <br /> 30 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Adopt the City’s Goals Program. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Flaherty. To Adopt the City’s Values Statement. 35 <br /> 36 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 37 <br /> 38 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Adopt the City’s Rules of Conduct. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Council Member Stigney said that this states Council Members praise in public and criticize in 41 <br />private. He then said that there was an issue in another City that he recently read about in the 42 <br />paper where a Council Member was reprimanded by the Council for speaking to an employee. 43 <br />He further said that the individual members have no authority individually as it must be the 44 <br />whole Council. 45
