Mounds View City Council June 25, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 16 <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller thanked Moe’s for the $500 donation to the Festival in the Park and the 1 <br />Staff and Council Members and Mayor who were brave enough to be in the dunk tank. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Council Member Mueller encouraged people to read the wonderful article on page 26 in the June 4 <br />21st edition of the Sun Focus regarding the design a t-shirt contest for the Festival in the Park. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Council Member Mueller noted that the car and tractor show registrations are due and there are 7 <br />free goodie bags for the first 100 cars registered. 8 <br /> 9 <br /> B. Reports of Staff 10 <br /> 1. Fire Inspection Update 11 <br /> 12 <br />City Administrator Ulrich noted that this was in regard to restaurant licenses to be renewed and 13 <br />there were two that need updated fire inspections and Staff believes they are coming into 14 <br />compliance. 15 <br /> 16 <br />City Administrator Ulrich noted that Staff put together a list for the cable control room and Staff 17 <br />is trying to have the cable staff go through the check list to help eliminate any issues with 18 <br />production. 19 <br /> 20 <br />City Administrator Ulrich said that he would like to see if the City could use some Staff from 21 <br />CTV to help with some of the technical issues the City has been experiencing. He then said that 22 <br />he could bring back the figures for what it would cost for part time help. 23 <br /> 24 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the Ramsey County Fair is July 11 – 15, 2007 with City 25 <br />Day being July 14. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Community Development Director Ericson indicated that the Comprehensive Plan Task Force 28 <br />will meet July 18, 2007 and Staff will bring a Resolution formalizing the appointments to the 29 <br />task force to the July 9, 2007 meeting. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Director Ericson indicated that interviews were conducted for the EDA position and he is hoping 32 <br />to have a candidate for Council consideration at either the July 9 or July 23, 2007 Council 33 <br />meeting. 34 <br /> 35 <br />C.
