RESOLUTION 7156 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING AN ANNUAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH TRANE BUILDING <br />SERVICES FOR CITY HALL HVAC MAINTENANCE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the City Hall rehabilitation project, upgrades were <br />made to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems (HVAC); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to the complexity of the new systems more preventative <br />service is needed to maintain and verify that all systems and components are <br />functioning properly; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with an annual HVAC system service agreement this system <br />will be properly set and maintained for maximum performance and efficiency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has solicited quotes from three qualified companies <br />and received two quotes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the low quote was received from Trane Building Services <br />for a three year contract at $2,318.00 for year 1, $2,412.00 for year 2 and <br />$2,508.00 for year 3; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Trane Building Services installed the current HVAC system at <br />City Hall and is therefore very familiar with the components and design. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. That a service contract with Trane Building Services for the <br />maintenance of the City Hall HVAC System is hereby awarded. <br /> <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into said contracts. <br /> <br />3. Said contracts shall be in effect for a period of three years. <br /> <br />4. Approval of said contract is contingent of the City’s legal counsel’s <br />review and approval. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
