July 9, 2007 City Council Meeting Minutes 8 9 Mayor Marty: On Page 2, Line 3 changes, and recommends approval remove the s. 10 11 Council Member Mueller: On Line 42 it is a change, as the charter allows not to exceed 21 days 12 instead of 30 days. 13 14 Council Member Flaherty: Page 5, Line 2 (asked to review the tape) stated he did not like being 15 threatened. 16 17 Mayor Marty: On Page 8, Line 30 add Council Member Stigney agreed. On Page 10, Line 5 and 18 Line 8 should be Director Ericson and Line 5 Mr. Perozi should be corrected. 19 20 MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. Reports of Mayor and Council 37 38 Mayor Marty thanked everyone who participated in Festival in the Park. Mayor Marty explained 39 that two Staff members are now able to enter information for the city’s sign, to avoid the issues 40 of not being able to put fireworks cancellation on the sign. The City sign showed fireworks were 41 still on for Sunday night. People were calling to see if the fireworks would still be held. 42 43 Community Development Director Ericson indicated that Medtronic does not have any issue 44 with rolling the funds for fireworks from this year into the 2008 celebration. 45
