Mounds View City Council September 10, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 20 <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller said that the report was very well done and asked that the report be 1 <br />posted on the website for resident review. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that last week there was an incident at Mounds View Square 4 <br />and responding Officer Wolf conducted himself well and successfully tracked down the person 5 <br />that created the disturbance. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Mayor Marty asked where the fire calls are listed on the report. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Chief Sommer explained that would fall under assisting another agency. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Mayor Marty asked who writes the police reports for the newspaper. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Chief Sommer indicated that the newspaper reporter does that after they receive the police report. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Marty indicated he went past Pinewood School and there were no cars parked in the no 16 <br />parking zone, and there was a squad making sure there was no one parked there. Mayor Marty 17 <br />thanked the Chief for the enforcement. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 2. City Administrator Report 20 <br /> 21 <br />Administrator Ulrich indicated that he received a letter from the Food Shelf thanking the City for 22 <br />the donation of $150.00. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Administrator Ulrich noted that the Medtronic estimated market value was put together at 25 <br />$13,545,000. for the land and a partial building value at $44,100,000. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Administrator Ulrich indicated that Medtronic has asked the City to allow them to aerate the 28 <br />pond to keep the water clean without using chemicals to prevent it from filling in. Staff supports 29 <br />that request but would look to have a maintenance agreement for liability purposes. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Administrator Ulrich said that it has been an honor to be the City Administrator for the last four 32 <br />years. Administrator Ulrich wished Council Members well. Administrator Ulrich thanked all 33 <br />City Staff for the years of providing service to the residents. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Mayor Marty thanked Mr. Ulrich for his years of service. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Council Member Mueller also thanked Mr. Ulrich for the years of service to the City. 38 <br /> 39 <br />C.
