Mounds View City Council September 10, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 19 <br /> <br />Mayor Marty: On Page 6, Line 9 add Line 12 Director Ericson stated that self-closing latches 1 <br />and hinges are state code. Page 8, Line 18, Xcel’s position; Page 17, Line 2, Amundsen is 2 <br />misspelled. Commas will be left with Staff. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that Eichstad is misspelled. 5 <br /> 6 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Approve the August 13, 2007 City Council Minutes as 7 <br />Amended. 8 <br /> 9 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 10 <br /> 11 <br />11. REPORTS 12 <br /> 13 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Marty indicated he attended the football game with Irondale against Totino Grace and 16 <br />Irondale won 21 to 20. This is the first time in 11 years that Irondale has beat Totino Grace and 17 <br />he would like to congratulate the football team on their victory. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that during the half time performance the Irondale Marching 20 <br />Knights performed their Minnesota State Fair routine. She then reminded the public that on 21 <br />Saturday, September 29, 2007 there will be Music of the Night performance where 16 other 22 <br />schools compete from south Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Stigney asked for a status on the green tint on the display. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that part of the issue is the lights, and that is what Staff has been 27 <br />told. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Mayor Marty indicated that there is some diagnostic equipment that can be used, and Staff is 30 <br />working with CTV-15 to use that equipment. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Stigney said that this has been going on for weeks and he would like it to be 33 <br />addressed. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Administrator Ulrich indicated that this has been a priority for Staff as well, but it has been 36 <br />difficult to diagnose the problem. Staff will continue to look into it. 37 <br /> 38 <br /> B. Reports of Staff 39 <br /> 1. Police Department Quarterly Report 40 <br /> 41 <br />Chief Sommer provided a quarterly report for April through June 2007. Chief Sommer 42 <br />summarized the information on the report for Council. 43 <br /> 44
