<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7177 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2008 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br />REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE <br />funds to improve recycling participation by the public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to <br />provide administrative and promotional activities intended to improve recycling <br />participation among city residents through education, awareness, and incentives; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined <br />that this is an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling <br />participation benefits the public health, safety, and welfare of the community as a <br />whole. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approve the application for 2008 SCORE funding (attachment) and <br />authorize acceptance of any allocated funding. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of October, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Jim Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br />
