Emergency Power Supply Plan – portable generator assistance 4 <br /> 5 <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that Staff is recommending a motion to allow Staff to seek 6 <br />quotes for a trailer mounted generator for any emergencies within the City and to use it for 7 <br />auxiliary power for events. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Mayor Marty said that the City of Spring Lake Park has one of these so he would think that some 10 <br />of this research would be available somewhere. 11 <br /> 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Approve Entering Into a contract with the Consultant 13 <br />as Recommended by Staff not to Exceed $3,300. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 3. Metro I-NET Update 18 <br /> 19 <br />Finance Director Beer provided an update on the Metro I-Net. Finance Director Beer indicated 20 <br />that by getting to the 511 building they can eliminate the $500 PRI fee. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that the library is willing to work with the City to extend cable to 23 <br />its building and share costs. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council asked Staff to bring this to a work session for discussion. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that the subject of the upcoming Ramsey County League 28 <br />of Local Governments Meeting is TIF. 29 <br /> 30 <br />C.
