Salary range $82,200 - <br />$104,000, commensurate with experience. Position reports to a five-member Council and <br />is responsible for supervising a staff of 51 full time employees and a general fund budget <br />of $5.6 million. Services include police, public works, community development, finance <br />and administration, and a joint powers fire department with two adjacent communities. <br />Requires a Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field (Master’s degree <br />preferred) and four years experience in public sector management. Qualified candidates <br />must demonstrate solid background in municipal operations and project execution, <br />thorough knowledge of municipal finance, strong administrative skills, and general <br />knowledge of city legal requirements. Experience in economic redevelopment, strategic <br />planning, and human resources management, including labor relations, desired.
