RESOLUTION NO. 6724 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />REVISING THE PERSONNEL MANUAL TO ADD SECTION 3.50, AUTHORIZING THE <br />UNIFORM ALLOWANCES FOR NON-UNION PUBLIC WORKS AND POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been past practice that non-union Public Works employees <br />were given the same uniform allowance reimbursement as the Public Works Union <br />employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been pact practice that non-union Police Department <br />employees were given the same uniform allowance reimbursement as the Police L.E.L.S <br />union contracts; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is currently no written policy that addresses uniform <br />allowances for these non-union employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there needs to be a written policy in place to ensure there is no <br />confusion between union and non-union employee benefits. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />adds Section 3.50 to the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br /> <br />Section 3.50 Uniform Allowances <br /> <br />The Mounds View Public Works, non-union employees, are authorized the <br />same uniform allowance reimbursement benefits as the Public Works <br />Union employees as outlined in the Public Works Union Contract. <br /> <br />The Mounds View Police, non-union employees, are authorized the same <br />uniform allowance reimbursement benefits as the Police L.E.L.S Union <br />employees as outlined in the L.E.L.S.
