The new job was created in 2000 or 2001 to change the Assistant to 9 the City Administrator position to be Assistant City Administrator. Reports of Mayor and Council 20 21 Mayor Marty stated as of today the street pick up of the debris only three streets remained in the 22 City that have not been cleared. He noted those streets were on the south side, just east of Silver 23 Lake Road. He stated if anyone lived on any other streets, it was the resident’s responsibility to 24 get rid of the debris now. He stated tomorrow they should be finished. He indicated if anyone 25 had questions, they should contact City Hall and speak with Public Works. 26 27 Mayor Marty stated they had a fire station dedication tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. and everyone was 28 welcome to attend. 29 30 Mayor Marty stated he went over to Cummings Park Open House in Arden Hills and spoke with 31 Tom Moore, the Operations and Maintenance Manager, to look at their new park building. He 32 noted the new building was in excess of $600,000 which was paid by park dedication funds from 33 Guidant. He stated he had spoken with Mr. Moore about the Mounds View park building and 34 Mr. Moore had indicated they had a similar building which cost them $350,000.00. He indicated 35 after the discussion with Mr. Moore, he realized that their park building was not out of line, but if 36 they could do it for less, that would be better. 37 38 Mayor Marty stated they had spoken about civility at meetings and recommended adopting a 39 policy that came in the handout. He stated at any time some feels they are offended, to bring this 40 up to Council. He stated he wanted to be civil at the meetings. 41 42 Councilmember Thomas stated she had visited a few of the parks after the storm and she had 43 some concerns with Silverview and asked how much of the tree damage was going to be cleaned 44
