<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6753 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORITY TO ADVERTISE AND RECOMMEND A CANDIDATE FOR HIRE FOR THE <br />PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER POSITON OPENING IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission maintains an eligibility <br />list for the Public Service Officer (PSO), and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this list has now expired, and the police department has a current opening <br />for this position a result of the resignation of the former PSO, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Service Officer is an essential position to the operations of the <br />Police Department, and having a replacement PSO in place as soon as practical is critical to <br />maintaining uninterrupted continuity of functional Police operations, and; <br /> <br />WHERAS, the replacement PSO shall be hired from the new Civil Service eligibility <br />list. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve advertising to create a new eligibility list for the position of Public Service <br />Officer for the City of Mounds View and authorizes staff to complete the process of <br />recommending a final candidate to the City Council for hire. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 27th day of February 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />
