<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6764 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR TWIN CITIES NORTH <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO CONDUCT <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT JAKE’S SPORTS CAFÉ <br />LOCATED AT 2400 HIGHWAY 10 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, has requested that <br />Council allow them to continue to conduct charitable gambling at Jake’s Sports <br />Cafe; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of <br />government (city or county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying <br />requests to conduct charitable gambling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, is in compliance <br />with all requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to <br />charitable gambling regulations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to assist in the <br />economic prosperity of local business owners. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby authorize Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, to <br />conduct charitable gambling at Jake’s Sports Cafe. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of March, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
