The revised quotation includes <br /> a minor increase in cost to cover these items. The price quoted <br /> is $432 ,044 as compared to the previously approved price of <br /> $429,791, an increase of $2 ,253 . <br /> I concur in SEH's recommendation that this is appropriate and <br /> within the estimated range of costs. <br /> Ric Mi etor <br /> City Engineer/Director of Public Works <br /> RECOMMENDATION: I recommend the City Council authorize staff to <br /> enter into an agreement with Filtronics , Inc. for the acquisition <br /> of filtering equipment at a cost of $432,044 with a 10 percent <br /> contingency for a total of $ 475, 250 to be charged to Account No. <br /> 680-4121-703 . <br />
