GOAL : PARTICIPATE IN COOPERATIVE EFFORTS <br /> The City of Mounds View will make a commitment to participate <br /> with other government agencies in exploring and/or implementing <br /> cooperative efforts and the sharing of services . <br /> STRATEGY: <br /> City Councils , City Managers/Administrators, and Department Heads <br /> of surrounding governmental agencies will continue to meet <br /> individually and collectively to determine the feasibility of sharing <br /> governmental services . Cost effectiveness and levels of services will <br /> be the focal point of discussion when considering consolidation. <br /> REVENUE/RESOURCE PROPOSAL : <br /> 1991 - NONE <br /> 1992 - POSSIBLE INCREASES IN BUDGET <br /> ACTION PLAN: <br /> 1991 - Identify cooperative efforts that can be implemented <br /> immediately. <br /> - Continue discussions with the western Ramsey County cities <br /> coalition. <br /> Refine existing cooperative efforts to •insure cost <br /> effectiveness and efficiency. - <br /> - Identify cooperative effort that we can and can not do, <br /> both immediately and in the future. <br /> 1992 - Monitor finding of legislative cooperative effort <br /> commission. <br /> Continue to discuss feasibility of cooperative efforts <br /> with other governmental agencies in all areas of municipal <br /> services. <br /> STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> Primary - City Administrator and Department Heads <br /> Approving <br /> Authority - City Council <br />
