Included in this newly created zoning classification was Town's Edge Mobile Home Park. Prior to the <br /> adoption of the R-5 classification, the mobile home park and surrounding properties were zoned B-3. <br /> Recently, Mr. Chester Glisan, owner of the property located at 4943 Old Highway 8,visited City Hall to inquire <br /> about the zoning on his property. Mr. Glisan's property is located directly adjacent to the Town's Edge Mobile <br /> Home Park. <br /> Mr. Glisan stated that at the time of the reclassification of the mobile home property from B-3 to R-5, his <br /> property and the adjoining property (4949 Old Highway 8)were inadvertently included in the legal description for <br /> the mobile home park and should not be included in the R-5 zoning. <br /> Staff has reviewed the legal description with the City Attorney and it is his opinion that the intent of the Council <br /> was not to include these two properties in the rezoning action. j <br /> I have included the appropriate areas of both the zoning and half section maps in addition to the Council <br /> approved legal description for your review. <br /> If there is any additional information you need, please do not hesitate to give me a call. <br /> c/ <br /> ul Harrington, P arming Tec 'cian <br /> RECOMMENDATION; <br /> Staff recommends that Council direct staff to make the appropriate changes to the official Zoning Map to reflect <br /> the original intent of the rezoning action. <br />
