/5 <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> JUNE 3, 1991 COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL �,(� <br /> FROM: SAMANTHAORDUNO, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> DATE: MAY 30, 1991 <br /> RE: SPEEDING ON GROVELAND ROAD AND COUNTY <br /> ROAD I <br /> At the last Council meeting, concerns were expressed regarding the <br /> excessive speeds on Groveland Road. Councilmember Wuori has also <br /> expressed concerns over similar problems on County Road I. Also <br /> mentioned at the Council meeting on May 28th was the issue of trash <br /> haulers speeding on Groveland at very early hours of the morning. <br /> I have enclosed copies of the five letters from Groveland residents which <br /> Councilmember Blanchard presented at the last Council meeting. Chief <br /> Ramacher will be in attendance at the June 3rd work session to answer <br /> any questions Council may have regarding this issue. <br /> Please note this item is placed last on the agenda due to the fact that <br /> Chief Ramacher has a previous commitment and will be arriving later <br /> during the meeting. <br /> Also, Ric Minetor contacted the management of Blaine Waste <br /> Management regarding both the speeding of trucks and early morning <br /> pick-ups. The management was very receptive to our concerns and <br /> assured us that the drivers would be advised of the complaint and the <br /> management's expectation that, if it is BWM trucks, such conduct would <br /> not be tolerated. The management requested Groveland residents <br />
