Consideration of Authorization to Hire a Part-Time.Temporary <br /> Building Inspector <br /> Public Works Director/City Engineer recapped the past <br /> couple of months with respect to the Building Inspector <br /> position, i.e. Jim Tobias resigned to take a job at the <br /> University of Minnesota and the City of Mounds View contracting <br /> with the City of Blaine for building inspection services . <br /> Public Works Director Minetor stated that he had received <br /> applications from three candidates but only one of those <br /> candidates was state certified. The candidate selected, <br /> Mr. Richard Jarson, was a carpenter and has accepted the salary <br /> of $13 .25 per hour as a temporary part-time building inspector. <br /> Mayor Linke inquired if Mr. Jarson was Class I certified <br /> or Class II.
