<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6842 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISION TO LARRY SILUK’S SEVERANCE <br />PACKAGE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Larry Siluk has retired from the Mounds View Police Department <br />effective April 30, 2006; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 6821 authorizing a severance <br />package for Larry Siluk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the current 2006-2007 LELS Police Officers <br />Labor Agreement, police officers are authorized 25 days vacation for 20 years of <br />service; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Larry Siluk was hired in 1975 as a Mounds View Police Officer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 6821 did not include 13.09 hours of accrued/unused <br />vacation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Larry Siluk’s current rate of pay is $32.12 per hour; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Larry Siluk is authorized an additional $420.45 payout of vacation <br />time, which equates to 13.09 hours times his hourly salary of $32.12 due to the vacation <br />schedule outlined in the 2006-2007 LELS Police Officers Labor Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approve an additional vacation payout of 13.09 hours of vacation not to exceed $420.45 <br />in accordance with the 2006-2007 LELS Police Officers Labor Agreement. <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of June, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal)
