June 8, 2006 <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br />City of Mounds View, Minnesota <br />2401 Highway 10 <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> <br />Re: Architectural professional services <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Ulrich, <br /> Thank you for your confidence in DSGW Architects to proceed into the <br />next phase of development of the Mounds View Community Center Remodel. <br />The City Council has directed that plans and specifications be drafted for the <br />purposes of bidding the project by general contractors. <br /> As per our original proposal, we offered to continue to this phase for a fee <br />of 6% of construction costs. The estimated cost of construction for the work at <br />the completion of Phase I is $600,000. Our fee would amount to $36,000 of <br />which $9,000 is for supervision during the construction. Therefore to take the <br />project through bidding only, our fee is $27,000. <br /> The professional disciplines this includes are architectural, interior design, <br />mechanical and electrical engineering.
