<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6863 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR TO ATTEND <br />THE NATOA CONFERENCE IN FLORIDA <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City’s adopted goals for the year include to “Improve communications <br />with the public” and to “Improve the effectiveness in delivery of services”; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adopted values of the City include “Professionalism – We believe that <br />continuous improvement is the mark of professionalism and are committed to applying <br />this principle to the services we offer and the development of our employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has recently hired a Communications Coordinator who will benefit <br />from continuing education opportunities offered by professional organizations such as the <br />National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA), and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the expenses of a national conference are included in the 2006 budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the NSCC/CTV15 has offered to pay the full tuition for the conference in the <br />amount of $495. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota that the City’s Communications Coordinator, Ms. Kimberly <br />Blackford, is hereby authorized to attend the National Association of Telecommunications <br />Officers and Advisor’s (NATOA) annual conference August 22-25, 2006 in Lake Buena <br />Vista, Florida, provided that, direct City expenditures do not to exceed the $1000 <br />designated in the 2006 budget for said purpose. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 26th day of June 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(ATTEST) ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />____________________________________
