RESOLUTION NO 6856 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING DISTRIBUTION OF SERVICE <br />APPRECIATION CERTIFICATES TO EMPLOYEES HAVING REACHED <br />FIVE-YEAR EMPLOYMENT MILESTONES <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 5617 was adopted by the City Council on October 8, 2001; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one of the clauses in Resolution 5617 indicates that the City will provide to <br />employees certificates in the amount of $5 per year of service at five-year increments; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following individuals have achieved an employment milestone with the <br />City of Mounds View since the adoption of Resolution 5617; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, together the eight (8) identified employees have a cumulative 70 years of <br />experience with the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Employee Name Department Years of Service <br />as of 2006 <br />Gift Certificate Amount <br />Aaron Backman Community <br />Development <br />5 years $25.00 <br />Keith Czarnecki Police Department 10 years $50.00 <br />Jim Ericson Community <br />Development <br />10 years $50.00 <br />Tracy Juell Public Works <br />Department <br />15 years $75.00 <br />Kasey Keckeisen Police Department 5 years $25.00 <br />Kirk Leitch Police Department 5 years $25.00 <br />Steven Menard Police Department 10 years $50.00 <br />Darrell Meyer Police Department 10 years $50.00 <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby appreciate and recognize the eight employees listed above for their years of dedicated <br />service and, pursuant to Resolution 5617, does hereby authorize the distribution of Service <br />Appreciation Certificates to each herein identified employee in amounts equal to five times their <br />years of service. <br /> <br />Adopted this 26th day of June, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> (seal)
