<br />The Public Works Department solicited quotes from several companies. As of <br />this date a total of three (3) bids have been received. <br /> <br />A summary of the bids / quotes follows: <br /> <br />Company Total Bid <br />Mattco Excavating, Inc. $3900.00 <br />Final Grade, Inc. $4300.00 <br />Belair Excavating No Bid <br /> <br />The lowest bidder was Mattco Excavating, Inc. with a quote of $3900.00. <br /> <br />Mattco Excavating has performed work for the City in the past for things such as <br />water and sewer service repairs. <br /> <br />The 2006 adopted budget has $50,000 allocated for the repair of drainage issues <br />throughout the City (account 245-4415-5150). <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve a contract award with Mattco <br />Excavating, Inc. in the estimated amount of $3900.00 for the repair of the <br />drainage easement located in Lambert Park. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Nick Fleischhacker; Surface Water Specialist
