Mounds View City Council October 23, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br />Director Ericson indicated that he is attempting to have Rice Creek Staff go out to the Johnson 1 <br />property and review it for concurrence. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Ken Glidden of 5240 Edgewood Drive commended Jim for obtaining the GIS system for $2,500. 4 <br />He then said that he questions whether Rice Creek maps are available through the GIS system of 5 <br />the City. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Director Ericson indicated that Staff has been told that the Rice Creek maps are available to the 8 <br />City but Staff does not have any of the files that they have and Staff is working on that. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Marty closed the public hearing. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Council Member Thomas said that there is no information on Hidden Hollow and that is a 13 <br />question she has as to whether something needs to be reflected for what was put in for wetland 14 <br />mitigation. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Director Ericson said that he agrees with Council Member Thomas and said that if the City is 17 <br />aware of a wetland that is out there then it needs to be added to the wetland maps. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Thomas. To Waive the Reading and Approve the Introduction 20 <br />and First Reading of Ordinance 780, an Ordinance Approving Modifications to the Official City 21 <br />Wetland Zoning District Maps as Amended. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Mayor Marty thanked Staff for putting this together and bringing it forward for clarification. He 24 <br />then said that he would like to obtain the information back from Rice Creek to resolve the 25 <br />questions along Long Lake Road. 26 <br /> 27 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 28 <br /> 29 <br />B. Ordinance 782, an Ordinance Amending Section 7.10 of the Mounds View 30 <br />City Charter Referring to City Indebtedness 31 <br /> 32 <br />Mayor Marty noted that this hearing will be postponed to the December 11, 2006 City Council 33 <br />Meeting. 34 <br /> 35 <br />City Attorney Riggs indicated that if it will be re-noticed, then there is no need to open and table 36 <br />to the December 11, 2006 meeting. 37 <br /> 38 <br />C. Non-Renewal of Multiple Dwelling Rental License at 5701 Quincy Street, 39 <br />Resolution 6954 40 <br /> 41 <br />Housing Inspector Jeremiah Anderson explained that there are regulations for operating and 42 <br />licensing multiple dwellings in the City and Chapter 1012 requires that properties with two or 43 <br />more units obtain a license and that requires regular inspection. He then said that Staff spoke to 44 <br />the tenants of the building for an inspection and noted there were some violation of the City’s 45
