<br />RESOLUTION 6985 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT, HEALTH <br />INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION ADJUSTMENT, AND PAY EQUITY ADJUSTMENT FOR <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW NON-UNION EMPLOYEES <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved by <br />Council Resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City settled the AFSCME, Police Officer, and Police Sergeant <br />contracts which included a 3% cost of living adjustment and a $732.20 monthly City <br />contribution for health insurance for the year 2007; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has traditionally awarded the same cost of living <br />increase and health insurance contribution to non-union employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a 5% Pay Equity Adjustment will need to be made on all non-union <br />female classifications (Assistant to the City Administrator & Utility Payroll Clerk) effective <br />December 31, 2006, to ensure compliance with the Minnesota State Pay Equity Law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approved a Budget for the year 2007 that reflects <br />those increases; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Mounds View, that the City <br />Council does hereby approve a 3% cost of living adjustment, a monthly $732.20 health <br />insurance contribution, for all non-union employees, effective January 1, 2007. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City of Mounds View, <br />that the City Council does hereby approve a 5% Pay Equity Adjustment on all non-union <br />female classifications, (Assistant to the City Administrator & Utility Payroll Clerk), effective <br />December 31, 2006. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11th day of December, 2006. <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
