Called to <br /> to order by Mayor Hankner at 7:08 PM on Order <br /> Monday, December 3, 1990 . <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Wuori <br /> Quick, and Mayor Hankner. <br /> Mayor Hankner opened the City Budget public <br /> hearing at 7:09 p.m. Mayor Hankner discussed <br /> the goals for the 1991 Budget. <br /> Finance Director Don Brager presented the 1991 <br /> City Budget. <br /> 111 A resident asked about the LGA cuts? <br /> Finance Director Brager responded there were some <br /> reserves ($130,000) budgeted for the likelihood of <br /> LGA cuts . Mayor Hankner also commented that there <br /> will likely be LGA cuts primarily to cities . <br /> Mayor Hankner asked residents if they had any specific <br /> concerns . <br /> Mayor-elect Jerry Linke commented that Council did a <br /> good job in planning for possible shortfalls . <br /> Mayor Hankner commented about future needs of cities <br /> and that they may need to do some consolidation of <br /> services with surrounding communities. <br /> A resident asked about the status of Surface Water <br /> Management utility. Mayor Hankner responded that there is <br /> continuing discussion and there is a meeting on December 4 . <br /> The needs for SWM will require additional dollars . No <br /> decision has been made regarding implementing a utility <br /> or financing needs in other ways . <br /> . i <br /> A resident asked about percent of lottery money for the <br /> City. Mayor Hankner responded none at this time. <br />
