POSITION DESCRIPTION/PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL • <br /> Position Title: Clerk Administrator Date: August, 1990 <br /> Department: Administration <br /> Accountable To: City Council <br /> Primary Objective of Position: <br /> Assists the Council, as their chief administrative aid, in the <br /> development of public policy. Develops and implements programs, work <br /> plan and budget which advances the Council's policies with the <br /> involvement and assistance of City department heads and staff. Plans, <br /> directs and evaluates, under Council direction, the delivery of <br /> municipal services. Perpetuates the collaborative personnel <br /> management system with all city employees. <br /> Position Dimensions: Employees: 38 full-time <br /> Budget: $4.8 million ($2.7 General Fund) <br /> Population: 13 ,025 residents <br /> City Assets: $8.1 million <br /> 411 <br /> Performance Appraisal Rating Information: A performance appraisal is <br /> a vital part of the ongoing communication process between the Clerk- <br /> Administrator and the members of the City Council. The appraisal is <br /> designed to serve as a guide for the documentation and discussion of <br /> performance. Performance rating categories are: <br /> Unsatisfactory: Performance is clearly below minimum <br /> acceptable level.
