Mounds -View City Council August 13, 1990 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Seven <br /> Councilmember Quick stated if the link is not put in, <br /> it would go against the Comp Plan, and he feels the <br /> Council should reaffirm the intentions of Resolution <br /> No. 3024. <br /> Motion/Second : Quick/Wuori to reaffirm Resolution <br /> No. 3024 as originally adopted on April 9, 1990. <br /> 4 ayes 1 nay Motion Carried <br /> Councilmember Blanchard voted against the motion, <br /> stating she did not feel it was in the best interests <br /> of the entire City of Mounds View. <br /> Mr. Minetor explained the Council had adopted a time- <br /> frame of 90 days, and they are already at 125 days <br /> due to some difficulties experienced during the <br /> traffic study. The Highway Department is putting <br /> plans together and going to bids . He noted the <br /> �unil has spent quite a bit of time on this, and <br /> c_ <br /> grey need to make a decision since plans are being <br /> drawn. <br /> Mayor Hankner stated she had deliberately bought <br /> her home on a dead end street, as a method of <br /> controlling future traffic problems . She noted <br /> the world is changing on a daily basis, and <br /> nothing remains the same . <br /> Mr. McCarty stated he did not feel the previous <br /> Council was the guilty party, and again feels <br /> statements made ,by Mayor Hankner are politically <br /> motivated. <br /> Mayor Hankner stated she had not named names and <br /> it was the error of the Council as a body .
