Advan gin <br /> disadvantages are offered for each option. <br /> #1. HIRE AN ADDITIONAL PARKS MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEE. <br /> This would bring the parks maintenance division to three (3) <br /> employees. One employee could Wouaasbenated underathethe <br /> supervisionLead <br /> Worker. The Parks Lead Workerbe contemplatedv <br /> the Public Works Foreman. With this option it may <br /> whether or not the Parks Mtenance lmaintenance taskssion would e <br /> and <br /> responsible for both projects general parks <br /> One scenario may be that during emergency situations such as <br /> sewer main breaks or snow storms, Parks Maintenance employees <br /> would be requested to assist the other departme would nts as necesiary. <br /> Likewise emergency situations in the parks <br /> assistance from the other public works department divisions. <br /> • Advantages: <br /> provide the consistency in parks personnel <br /> 1. This option would Y general eneral maintenance requirements of <br /> to provide the necessary <br /> the parks. <br /> 2 . A Lead Parks Maintenance worker could perhaps free up time of <br /> the Public Works Foreman. <br /> 3 . An additional parks employee may provide the manpower <br /> necessary to accomplish the Parks Maintenance Stoan a rds ng assuming <br /> that duties are general parks maintenance, <br /> projects. <br /> Disadvantages: <br /> Hiring <br /> an additional parks maintenance employee requires <br /> additional funding. <br /> #2. HIRE AN ADDITIONAL PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE AND CONTINUE WITH <br /> PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE POOL. <br /> This system offers opportunity to pool the skills <br /> and <br /> tabilities to <br /> employees and assign work tasks to those who possess• best complete individual tasks or projects. <br />
