Mounds View. <br /> on this /.1:, Day of March 1990. <br /> A resolution to set up and put in motion a civilian police dep- <br /> artment review board. <br /> Whereas: There is no one, other then the police, that the citizens <br /> can make a complaint to. <br /> Whereas: The citizens mating any complaint about any one officer <br /> or officer's on the police department has no one other then the <br /> same police department too com'Dlain to. <br /> Whereas: The police department as it is now, police the police, with <br /> out any one knowing other then the police what really was looked into, <br /> and/or if every thing was looked into as to any and all complaints <br /> registered. <br /> Whereas: This civilian review boardshall be made up with no pay- <br /> ment in we es, and. shall be free of any and all politicians , and of <br /> any and all city, county, or state employes. <br /> •Whereas: This civilian review board being free from any and all <br /> special interest groups, can be inioartinl to all concerned. <br />
