1 <br /> Mounds View City CouncilJune 25, 1990 <br /> Regular Meeting APP11 (:) 17) <br /> Page Four <br /> Mayor Hankner stated it is the intent of the Council • <br /> to receive the task force report, and review it and <br /> discuss it several times in the future, and to <br /> consider the input received and make a decision <br /> about adoption and implementation of the plan. <br /> Carol Golden, of Parkview Drive, stated what is in <br /> the park presently is very poorly maintained, and <br /> she would like to see that improved. <br /> Park and Rec Director Saarion explained there are main- <br /> tenance- - projects planned for the pathway, but <br /> the workers have not been able to get to them yet. <br /> Mayor Hankner stated she would discuss the problem <br /> with the public works foreman tomorrow. <br /> The resident of 2604 Lake Court Drive stated <br /> he had no problem with wood chips. <br /> Ms . Jones questioned whether the document presented <br /> would be cleaned up before it becomes an official <br /> master plan, as she had noticed several inconsisten- <br /> cies in it. <br /> Mayor Hankner replied it would be, and the Council • <br /> will be taking the comments made into consideration, <br /> and she hopes it can be adopted by fall, before the <br /> budget is finalized. <br /> Mary Crowley, of Mounds View Drive, stated there <br /> are very few places an easement could be put in, <br /> as the homes are so close together. <br /> Bob Holmbeck, 2596 Mounds View Drive, expressed <br /> concern with the wildlife habitat, which the neglect <br /> • ! - .. .d has •reatl decreased, that he was <br /> against having a hard surfaced path, that the <br /> original plan from Mary Anderson homes called <br /> for several foot paths, which the buyers were <br /> against, and he advised they be careful about <br /> the choice of equipment and location for placement. <br /> Mr. Ash reported the homeowners association will <br /> be meeting soon, and he invited the Council to <br /> attend. <br /> An unidentified resident expressed concern with <br /> the buffer zone, and mosquito problem, and pre- <br /> ditor problem. <br /> Mr. Radermacher expressed thanks for the opportunity <br /> to be on the task force. <br />
