Corporation, <br /> Pinecrest Prop. <br /> Plat, Case <br /> 162-84 <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Director Thatcher stated that Don Pauley, Attorney <br /> Meyers and Steve Thatcher have reviewed the proposal <br /> and they have discussed whether the road should be <br /> allowed to go in at this time, since it appears that <br /> further development may occur soon. He explained the <br /> Planning Commission has another month before they must <br /> make a decision. He added staff plans to meet with <br /> Rosewood Corporation and Nielson Realty and their <br /> attorneys to discuss the roads in the area, and he also <br /> noted that the property has changed hands and the new <br /> owners are rethinking the road alignment. <br /> Director Thatcher stated it is Staff ' s opinion that <br /> ervice to this area should be in conjunction with <br /> e overall plan for the entire area. <br /> Fred Catter, of Rosewood Corporation, explained they <br /> had entered into an agreement to purchase the property <br /> in July of 1984, and at that time, Raymond Avenue was <br /> planned . He stated they worked with Short-Elliot- <br /> Hendrickson to design the facility and took into consid- <br /> eration the road alignment. He added the City asked <br /> them to wait from October, 1984 to October, 1985, <br /> pending the possibiity of NCR coming in, which they did , <br /> and they would now like to move forward on their project. <br /> Mr. Catter stated they had filed litigation today in <br /> District Court to force the property owners to meet the <br /> agreements of the purchase agreement, and he would like <br /> to see a level of support from the City. Mr. Catter <br /> stated they would be willing to sit down with the new <br /> owner, who they understand is Nielsen Realty, and City <br /> Staff , and work things out. <br /> Peter Hilger, of Rosewood Corporation, stated he under- <br /> stands the land was platted for the road , and Short- <br /> Elliott-Hendrickson was authorized to design it, and he <br /> asked for no further delays. <br /> airman Mountin stated that several concepts have been <br /> roved for this property, but have fallen through. <br /> 4 <br />
