Call to <br /> order by Chairman Mountin at 7: 35 PM on Wednesday, Order <br /> June 4, 1986. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Zollner, Miller, 2. Roll Call <br /> Forslund and Chairman Mountin. <br /> It was noted that Commissioner Anderson had sub- <br /> mitted his resignation from the Planning Commission, <br /> effective immediately. <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Public Works/Community Development <br /> Director Thatcher. <br /> Motion/Second: Forslund/Zollner to approve the May 7, 3. Approval of <br /> 4111 <br /> 1986 minutes as presented. Minutes: <br /> May 7 , 1986 <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays <br /> Motion Carried <br /> There were no residents requests or comments from 4. Residents <br /> the floor. Requests and <br /> Comments from <br /> the Floor <br /> James Evans, of Buetow and Associates, reviewed the 5 . Jeff Nielson, <br /> proposed plan of Specialized Concrete Products Mfg. 4807 Mustang <br /> to construct a 40 ,700 square foot office and Circle, <br /> warehouse building. He reviewed the parking Case 192-86 <br /> requirements and stated they feel they would have <br /> sufficient parking with 57 regular and 2 handicapped <br /> spaces, versus the 90 that is required by City code. <br /> Director Thatcher reviewed the section of the code, <br /> Chapter 40 , regarding parking requirements and how <br /> the number of spaces is determined. <br /> IllkChairman Mountin noted that in the past they have <br /> lways required applicants to have adequate parking, <br /> s the building may be sold in the future, and the <br /> new business may need the additional parking spaces. <br /> She recommended that 90 spaces be provided. <br />
