Consideration the applicant. of Staff Report Regarding Exten- Planner Herman reported that Kunz Oil Company had sion of CUP been granted a conditional use permit on October 13, for Kunz Oil 1986 for a gas station and convenience store to be Company located on the present location of K-Gas at 2901 Highway 10, but after receiving the permit, they never took any action to begin construction. She explained that City code states that a conditional use permit becomes null and void if the work permitted is not completed within one year, unless a petition for an extension is filed with the City 30 days before "'the expiration date of the original permit. She noted that the request was received on September 24 , 1987 , which is less than the required 30 days.
