Consideration <br /> the applicant. of Staff Report <br /> Regarding Exten- <br /> Planner Herman reported that Kunz Oil Company had sion of CUP <br /> been granted a conditional use permit on October 13, for Kunz Oil <br /> 1986 for a gas station and convenience store to be Company <br /> located on the present location of K-Gas at 2901 <br /> Highway 10, but after receiving the permit, they <br /> never took any action to begin construction. She <br /> explained that City code states that a conditional <br /> use permit becomes null and void if the work permitted <br /> is not completed within one year, unless a petition <br /> for an extension is filed with the City 30 days before <br /> "'the expiration date of the original permit. She noted <br /> that the request was received on September 24 , 1987 , <br /> which is less than the required 30 days. <br />
