Mounds View Planning Commission February 3, 1988 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Two <br /> () There was discussion among the Commissioners as to the <br /> color and construction of the building, with the <br /> preference being either green or brown in color, to <br /> blend in with the surroundings. <br /> Planner Herman presented pictures received from Mr. <br /> Strane of the MWCC, showing what the proposed building <br /> would look like. <br /> Mr. Strane stated that the MWCC prefers to go with the <br /> metal buildings, and while their color is often blue, <br /> he will pass the Planning Commissions wishes along to <br /> the MWCC. <br /> It was agreed to add a contingency to proposed Resolution <br /> No. 212-88 to require approval from the Rice Creek Water- <br /> shed District, as part of the conditional use permit and <br /> eliminate the condition referencing aesthetic treatment. <br /> Motion/Second: Saunders/Zollner to adopt Resolution <br /> No. 212-88, recommending approval of a conditional <br /> use permit to construct a public facility in an R-1 <br /> district for the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission <br /> at 2345 County Road H, and waive the reading. <br /> • 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Planner Herman reported that Barr Engineering will be 6 . Staff Report <br /> making a presentation on the wetland and flood plain <br /> ordinances to the City Council and Planning Commission <br /> on Saturday, February 27, and at that time they will <br /> also be presenting the proposal from Dynamic Designers <br /> and will walk the Council and Commission through it. <br /> The attendees at the January 20 , 1988 agenda session 7. Chairman' s <br /> were Commissioners Saunders, Zollner, Miller, Burgers , Report <br /> Peters , Chairman Mountin, Councilmembers Wuori and <br /> Quick, and City Planner Herman. Commissioner Simons <br /> had an excused absence for that meeting. <br /> Acting Chairman Burgers adjourned the meeting at 8.
