Mounds View Planning Commission February 1,. 1989 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Five ' <br /> 0 The Planning Commission reviewed proposed Resolution <br /> No. 243-89, adding islands in the proposed present <br /> parking lot, landscaping the future expansion park- <br /> ing area, encouraging natural vegetation in the <br /> northwest corner, and the addition of a skimmer in <br /> the overflow ponds. <br /> Motion/Second: Dian/Saunders to approve Resolution <br /> No. 243-89, recommending approval of development <br /> stage plans for SYSCO/Continental Minnesota, PUD, <br /> Mounds View Planning Case No. 243-88. <br /> 6 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> City Planner Herman distributed the revised Comp 6. Staff Report <br /> Plan to the Commissioners. She stated she had not <br /> had an opportunity to review it yet, but the copy <br /> did appear to be much easier to read. <br /> City Planner Herman announced she had resigned <br /> her position with the City, to go to the City of <br /> Minnetonka, and February 24 will be her last day. <br /> Clerk/Administrator Pauley will begin the process <br /> of finding a replacement. <br /> • City Planner Herman advised the planning and law <br /> seminar being offered on April 5 is the same time <br /> as the regularly scheduled Planning Commission <br /> meeting, so they may want to consider changing the <br /> date. It was agreed to discuss this further at the <br /> next meeting. <br /> The attendees at the January 18 agenda session were 7. Chairman ' s <br /> Commissioners Zollner, Miller, Saunders, Burgers, Report <br /> Alman, Dian and Chairman Mountin, Councilmember <br /> Wuori,, Mayor Hankner and City Planner Herman. <br /> Acting Chairman Burgers adjourned the meeting at 8.
