Paster Enterprises <br /> involves a rezoning of the convenience food MV Square/Hardees <br /> restaurant portion of the property from B-4 Planning Case <br /> to B-3, a conditional use permit for. the 276-89 <br /> convenience food restaurant with drive-through <br /> facilities and a conditional use permit/planned <br /> unit development to allow more than one <br /> •rincipal building on the site. <br /> Mr . Benshoof of Benshoof & Associates explained <br /> the traffic and parking study done for the <br /> proposed Hardees restaurant at the Mounds View <br /> Square site. <br /> The Planning Commission discussed the land- <br /> scaping on the site and Mr . Jim Everson of <br /> Paster Enterprises explained that they could <br /> add small bushes to the site. Of particular <br /> concern was the blockage of the headlights <br /> along County Road I near the drive-through <br /> portion of the site. The issue was raised <br /> that because of the lack of available space, <br /> a fence may be more appropriate. City <br /> Council liason Wuori explained that the City <br /> does not encourage the use of a fence because <br /> it collects trash and the City prefers the <br /> natural green area provided on the site. Mr . <br /> Everson explained that they would be adding <br /> vines to the drainage pond fence that is <br /> currently in place. <br /> Mr . Rod Karass, legal council for Hardees, <br /> Aftresented zoning issues and how this proposal <br /> elates to the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
