Anderson for property he owns at 8280 <br /> Long Lake Road, Planning Case No. 272-89. <br /> 3 ayes 1 nay Motion Carried <br /> Commissioner Jones voted against the motion due to <br /> what is across the street, the compost site, Highway <br /> 10 and the nearby commercial area, which he feels <br /> makes it periphery. <br /> Chair Mountin noted the resolution will be forwarded <br /> to the Council . <br /> Ms. Hren advised it will be on the November 20 agenda <br /> session agenda, and a public hearing set for November <br /> 27. <br /> Ms. Hren advised the Planning Commission needs to 10. Staff Report <br /> declare a vacancy, as a written letter of resignation <br /> has not been received from Deborah Alman, in order for <br /> the Council to fill the position. <br /> Motion/Second: Mountin/Jones to declare that Deborah <br /> • Alman has vacated her seat on the Planning Commission <br /> by verbal communication and lack of attendance, and <br /> request the Council fill that position. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Councilmember Wuori reported she had received a <br /> letter from the School District, advising that Edgewood <br /> Community Center will be reverted back into a middle <br /> school, and asking the City's help in finding alterna- <br /> tive sites for the center and its programs within <br /> the community. The Council would like input from the <br /> commissions and any suggestions they may have. <br /> Commissioner Dian pointed out the 7-11 at County Road <br /> H2 and Silver Lake Road, which was recently purchased <br /> by Super America, had been boarded up and suggested <br /> that as a consideration. <br /> Attendees at the October 18 agenda session were 11 . Report of <br /> Commissioners Jones, Zollner, Miller and Chair Chair <br /> Mountin, City Planner Hren and Councilmember Wuori, <br /> with Commissioners Dian and Burgers having excused <br /> absences. <br /> 40 Staff was asked to look into the running lights <br /> again at Wonder Video, as well as flags and banners <br /> at Mid American Auto and the Tom Thumb off County <br /> Road H2 and Knollwood. <br />
