Mounds View Planning Commission November 1, 1989 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Four <br /> 41, Ms. Hren explained the draft resolution establishes 8. Discussion <br /> the policy regarding R-2 zoning districts. A former Regarding R-2 <br /> written policy has been misplaced, so this recreates Zoning District <br /> it. He stated the structure he is proposing to put <br /> up would be close to a quarter miller dollars in <br /> value, and would be a side by side. <br /> Chair Mountin explained zero lot lines are allowed. <br /> Mr. Anderson replied he wants to own both units, to <br /> have control over who lives next to him. <br /> Motion/Second: Jomes/Miller to adopt Resolution <br /> No. 273-89, establishing Planning Commission policy <br /> regarding R-2 zoning district. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Ms. Hren reviewed the request of the applicant to 9. Consideration <br /> rezone the property at 8280 Long Lake Road to R-2. of Rslt. No. <br /> • Based on direction from the Planning Commission, 272-89 Regard- <br /> Staff has drafted a resolution denying the request. ing Rezoning <br /> Request of <br /> Mr. Anderson, the applicant, stated the property Donald Anderson, <br /> directly across the street is rental, with two 8280 Long Lake <br /> families living in the same unit. However, he agreed <br /> that in looking at it from the street, it would not <br /> be. <br /> Commissioner Dian stated she did not feel property <br /> south of 8275 Long Lake Road periphery, but anything <br /> 410 north would be. She added she does not feel the lot <br /> is undesirable. <br />
