Mounds View Planning Commission June 6, 1990 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Four <br /> Motion/Second: Dian/Jones to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 292-90, approving the requested text amendment by <br /> Kraus Anderson to allow a furniture showroom in a B-2 <br /> district, Planning Case No. 298-90, and waive the <br /> reading. <br /> 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Due to the conflict of the regular July meeting being 8. Staff Report <br /> on the 4th of July holiday, it was agreed to call to <br /> order at the June 20 agenda session, if there is any <br /> business to be taken care of, and cancel the July 4 <br /> meeting . <br /> Ms. Hren reported the representatives from Decision <br /> Resources will meet with the Planning Commission on <br /> June 20. <br /> The Planning Commission reviewed the request of <br /> Commissioner Burgers for a leave of absence. He has <br /> had more than one leave of absence in the past, <br /> but also is a very valued member of the Commission. <br /> It was the consensus of the Planning Commission to <br /> grant Commissioner Burgers a leave of absence until <br /> 0 the first meeting in September. They further <br /> requested that he advise what his schedule is, and <br /> when he ' ll be back. <br /> Chair Mountin noted the 7-11 on Silver Lake Road and <br /> County Road H2 appears to need mowing. She requested <br /> Staff look into it, as well as reports that semis are <br /> parking there overnight. <br /> Commissioner Dian noted Taco Bell already has peeling <br /> paint and dead bushes, and she requested Staff look <br /> into that also. <br /> It was further noted there are a number of dead <br /> shrubs and trees in the business park which should be <br /> replaced. <br /> Chair Mountin expressed concern that the Planning 9. Report of <br /> Commission hasn' t worked on the Highway 10 mor _torium, the Chair <br /> and she requested an update from Staff at the July <br /> agenda session, as far as where the Planning Commission <br /> is on it and where they are going. <br /> The attendees at the May 16 agenda session were <br /> Commissioners Dian, Jones, Miller, Zollner, Chair <br /> • Mountin, City Planner Hren and Councilmember Wuori . <br /> Commissioners Burgers and Colleen had excused <br /> absences. <br />
