Consideration of <br /> discussed at the Planning Commissions May Resolution No. <br /> 15th agenda meeting. She informed the 452-96 Regarding an <br /> Commission that she contacted Attorney Long Ordinance <br /> to discuss clarification of the provision of Amendment to <br /> Subdivision 3 of the proposed foster care Chapter 1106 <br /> ordinance which has been clarified to read, Pertaining to Foster <br /> shall be allowed as permitted uses to Care Facilities <br /> serve not more than eight children per home, <br /> not including the foster family's own children." <br /> Motion/Second: Brasaemle/Brooks to approve <br /> Resolution No. 452-96 recommending an <br /> ordinance amendment to Chapter 1106, <br /> Section 1106.02 entitled, R-1, Single Family <br /> Residential District, pertaining to foster care <br /> facilities. <br /> 6 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> • <br /> Acting Director Pruitt reviewed proposed 10. Consideration of <br /> Resolution No. 453-96 in support of the Resolution No. <br /> Capacity Building Grant application offered by 453-96 Supporting <br /> the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Building Grant <br /> (MHFA) to assist agencies to more effectively Application Offered <br /> address the housing needs of their community. by MHFA for Jennifer <br /> She noted that the grant funds may be used for Bergman <br /> studies and analysis, staff training, and legal <br /> and professional services. She also mentioned <br /> that the National Development Council, who <br /> trains most housing officials and has an <br /> excellent reputation, offers a three-week <br /> training course in housing development and <br /> finance and that the City will be applying for the <br /> grant for Housing Inspector Jennifer Bergman <br /> to attend. She noted that the maximum grant <br /> amount is $10,000 and she anticipates asking <br /> MHFA for $5,000 or less depending upon the <br /> cost of the training. <br /> • <br />
