Call to Order <br /> called to order by Chair Peterson at 7:14 p.m. <br /> on September 18, 1996. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners 2. Roll Call <br /> Johnston, Miller, Brooks, Stevenson, <br /> Brasaemle and Chair Peterson. <br /> (Commissioner Obert arrived late.) <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Community Development <br /> Director Sheldon and Recording Secretary <br /> • Benesch. <br /> Community Development Director Sheldon 3. Consideration of <br /> reviewed the request from the Mounds View Resolution No.477-96 <br /> Economic Development Authority for a Regarding Variance <br /> reduction in the required width for a corner lot. Request by Mounds <br /> She explained that the required width is 100 View Economic <br /> feet and the request is for the lot to be 80 feet Development Authority, <br /> for the property at 8265 Spring Lake Road. 8265 Spring Lake Road, <br /> She continued by stating that the applicant has Planning Case No. <br /> applied to the Planning Commission by letter 455-96 <br /> outlining their reasons they feel there is a <br /> hardship in this case and she presented the <br /> summarized information to the Planning <br /> Commission in a report. She explained that the <br /> most significant items from the variance criteria <br /> have to do with the lot being platted in 1939 at <br /> its current width and added that there is no <br /> additional unplatted or vacant land on that <br /> block that could be purchased to add to this lot <br /> to widen it.
