He continued by saying that this is done by ordinance. A <br /> brief review again ensued regarding the changes made to the Bylaws and proposed Ordinance No. <br /> 629. <br /> • Motion/Second: Berke/Johnson to approve Resolution No.572-99, Resolution Recommending <br /> City Council Approval of Ordinance No. 629, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 401 of the <br /> Mounds View Municipal Code to be Consistent with the Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> Bylaws, Planning Case No. SP-069-99. <br /> Ayes - 7 Nays - 0 <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 7. <br /> Staff Reports/Items of Information <br /> Items of Information <br /> a. Director Jopke reminded the Commission that the City Council had requested a Planning <br /> Commission annual report as allowed by Chapter 401.08 of the Municipal Code. A copy <br /> of the 1998 draft report was included in the packet. He indicated that after review by the <br /> Planning Commission the report would be forwarded to the City Council. He added that <br /> the report meets the intent of what the Code requires. <br /> • Chairperson Peterson was concerned about the"Miscellaneous" section, Item 1, where it <br /> states that the Planning Commission participated in discussions regarding the ring road. <br /> Chairperson Peterson recommended that a statement be added stating that the Planning <br /> Commission was not in favor of a ring road, which had been proposed by the University of <br />
