32.15 <br /> III32. 15 Proposed Plats. Before the preliminary approval is <br /> given to any proposed platting or property in the Municipality, <br /> the preliminary plat shall be submitted to the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission for study and recommendation along with written <br /> reports and recommendations on the plat from the Municipal <br /> Engineer and Attorney. The recommendations on and approval of <br /> plats by the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be in accor- <br /> dance with Chapter 42 of the Municipal Code. <br /> 32.16 Zoning Plan. The Commission upon its own motion <br /> may, and upon instruction by the Council shall, prepare a revised <br /> Zoning Plan for the Municipality. Before recommending such plan <br /> to the Council, the Commission 'shall hold at least one public <br /> hearing thereon after a published notice of such hearing appears <br /> in the legal newspaper at least ten days prior to the hearing. <br /> The same procedure shall apply for the preparation of an overall <br /> street plan or acquisition of lands for other public purposes . <br /> 32. 17 Procedure to Rezone Property. See Chapter 40. 25 of <br /> the Municipal Code for procedure. <br /> 32. 18 Records or Information Required by the Commission. <br /> Upon the request of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the <br /> Clerk-Administrator or his designees shall furnish within a <br /> reasonable time such records or information as may be required <br /> • <br /> for the work of the Commission. <br /> ' ' 32. 19 Duties and Powers of the Planning Commission. The <br /> Commission shall be the City planning agency as authorized by the <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City Charter .
