32. 05 <br /> • Subdivision 2. Regular Agenda Meetings. Agenda Meetings <br /> of the Planning Commission may be held on the third Wednesday of <br /> each month at 7: 30 p.m. at the Municipal Hall. The purpose of <br /> this meeting is to discuss and prepare the agenda for the <br /> following regular meetings . <br /> Subdivision 3. Special Meetings . Special Meetings may be <br /> called by the Chairperson or by any two members of the Planning <br /> Commission by a written notice filed with the Clerk-Administrator <br /> who shall then mail a notice to all members of the time and place <br /> of meeting at least one day before the meeting. <br /> Subdivision 4. Voting Privileges . Each of the appointed <br /> members shall have equal voting privileges . <br /> Subdivision 5. Quorum. A majority of the appointed voting <br /> Commission members shall constitute a quorum. <br /> Subdivision 6. Bylaws, Records. The Commission shall <br /> adopt bylaws for its governance and for the transaction of its <br /> business. The bylaws shall be reviewed on an annual basis at the <br /> first regular meeting in February. A recording secretary, who <br /> may be recommended by the Planning Commission for appointment, <br /> shall keep a record of attendance at Commission meetings, a <br /> record of resolutions, votes and abstentions on each question re- <br /> quiring a vote. The record of the Commission shall be a public <br /> . <br /> record. <br /> 32. 06 Expenditures . The Commission may request from the <br /> City Council the employment of such staff, technicians, and <br /> experts as may be deemed proper, and may request such other funds <br /> as may be necessary and proper for the conduct of its affairs. <br /> 32. 07 Reports. The City Council may request an annual <br /> report from the Planning Commission of its works during the pre- <br /> ceding year . <br /> 32. 08 Compensation. All members of this Commission shall <br /> serve without compensation. <br /> 32.09 Vacancies. <br /> Subdivision 1. Removal from Office. An appointed member <br /> of the Commission may be removed from office for just cause and <br /> on written charges by at least four-fifths vote of the entire <br /> City Council, but such member shall be entitled to a public hear- <br /> ing before such vote is taken. It shall be the duty of the <br /> Chairman of the Commission to notify the City Council promptly of <br /> any vacancies occurring in membership. The Mayor, with approval <br /> of the City Council, shall fill such vacancies, for the unexpired <br /> term of the original appointment . In addition, an appointed <br /> 0 member may be removed by the City Council for nonattendance at <br /> Planning Commission Meetings as provided in the Bylaws adopted by <br /> the Planning Commission or if a Commission Member does not attend <br /> 20 regularly scheduled meetings per year . <br /> Rev . 9/89 <br />
