110 REQUEST FOR PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> Meeting Date: July 10, 1996 <br /> Staff Report by: Joyce Pruitt, Acting Community Development Director <br /> Planning Case 448-96 <br /> File No.: <br /> Request: The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to <br /> construct an oversized garage at 8005 Woodlawn Drive. <br /> Petitioner: Jerome Espeseth <br /> Location: 8005 Woodlawn Drive <br /> PIN No. 05-30-23-32-0034 <br /> Zoning Land Use: The property is currently zoned R-1, Single Family <br /> Residential. <br /> Applicable Regulations: Section 1106.04, Subd. 6, requires a conditional use permit <br /> for garages exceeding 864 square feet. <br /> Section 1106.04, Subd. 6b, limits the combined square <br /> footage of all accessory buildings on one lot to 1,264 <br /> • <br /> square feet. <br /> Section 1104.01 requires a 30' front yard setback, 10' side <br /> yard setback and 30' rear yard setback for R-1 zoned <br /> properties. <br /> Section 1106.03, Subd1 c, provides for accessory buildings <br /> not to exceed fifteen feet in height, and shall be five feet or <br /> more from all lot lines of adjoining lots and shall be six feet <br /> or more from any other building or structure on the same lot. <br /> Section 1106.04, Subd. 6d, requires "the buildingshall be <br /> q <br /> designed and maintained to provide a uniform appearance <br /> with the dwelling unit." <br /> Section 1106.04, Subd. 6e, limits the width of the garage to <br /> 35 feet and provides for no more than three vehicle <br /> accesses. <br /> Attachments: ZoningMap P <br />
