MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 470-96 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING AMENDING THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 1006.06, SUBDIVISION 4, RELATING TO <br /> DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 1006, entitled"Building Permits and Fees; Development Controls," <br /> currently requires development contracts to set forth all of the terms, conditions, requirements, <br /> agreements, guarantees and plans for the orderly development of land between the developer and <br /> the Municipality prior to the final approval of any subdivision, rezoning, special use permits, <br /> license or any building permits required for the construction, alteration or any building permits <br /> required for the construction, alteration, expansion to improvement of land; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff and the Mounds View Planning Commission have reviewed this <br /> requirement and found it is necessary to assure that public and private site improvements are <br /> completed in compliance with development requirements, but may allow the requirements to be <br /> waived when no such improvements are involved; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends modification to Section 1006.06, <br /> Subdivision 4, to better clarify that such contracts are required when public and private site <br /> improvements are to be built, but to allow for a waiver when no such improvements are involved. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Mounds View recommends approval of Ordinance No. 588, an ordinance relating to development <br /> contracts by amending Chapter 1006.06, Subdivision 4 of the Mounds View Municipal Code. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission directs Staff <br /> to forward this Resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br /> Adopted this 7th day of August 1996 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jerry Peterson, Chairperson <br /> (SEAL) • <br /> Pamela Sheldon, Community Development Director <br /> • <br />
