Reports of Mayor and Council. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Council Member Marty stated he met with their representative and Senator on the sound wall and 10 <br />if the City can get assistance from Mn/Dot. He indicated they will be pursuing this with the 11 <br />Metropolitan Council also. He stated he also talked with them about having the covenants lifted 12 <br />off the golf course, noting Staff had already had those discussions with them. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Council Member Quick indicated he has spoken often about Hidden Hollow and how he feels 15 <br />they could have put a lot more there. He stated now they are talking about needing more tax 16 <br />base. He feels the next City Council has to really look at the Comprehensive Plan and have a 17 <br />working plan. He commented that change comes hard but they need a City Council that is 18 <br />willing to do that and create a policy on development with a workable Comprehensive Plan. He 19 <br />stated something needs to be done to lessen the tax burden. He added he is not set in stone on 20 <br />the golf course, but thinks they need to do what the residents want to do. 21 <br /> 22 <br /> B. Staff 23 <br /> 24 <br />None. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> C.
